“I’m so happy I joined Zvago when it opened in 2019! There are so many ways to stay socially active without leaving the building. We have coffee hours, exercise classes, book club, Friday night potlucks, game times, and more. I also appreciate the casual connections—whether it’s a friendly chat in the hallway or by the mailboxes. There’s a real sense of community. I’m so thankful to be surrounded by kind, caring neighbors who really get to know each other.”

“A drugstore, a grocery store, the post office, Dollar Tree, Target, Office Depot, LA Fitness, Kelley Park, a hair salon, and many restaurants and coffee shops are within a 10-minute walk. Simultaneously, I get my exercise and my errands done without having to put miles on our car. I love the walkability of Zvago.”

Wendy

“We like the urban setting with so many opportunities and conveniences within walking distance. Also, we love the welcoming attitude for our dog and the many areas for walking!

“When we experienced a loss, we were some of the “new people,” working to put names with faces. The sweet strength of caring and support poured from our neighbors. We were not alone. Our nest was “well feathered” and is still softening. It’s the people. It’s always about the people. Our neighborhood is wonderful.

“There are many things I like about living here, and one of the best is the convenience. I am within ten minutes driving to four grocery stores, a haircut, three gas stations, two drugstores, two home improvement stores, and a flower shop. I can walk to the post office, a drug store, a coffee shop, my bank, my doctor, and my auto repair shop. There are also many restaurants close by.

Michael

“After 43 years of living in our single family home, my husband and I decided to simplify our lives and move to a cooperative. We chose Zvago. I am grateful every day to be amongst neighbors who truly feel more like extended family. I am proud to call this my home.”

Missy

“I like the upbeat camaraderie of community life. At Zvago there’s a sharing of talents that makes it an energetic, vibrant place to live.”

Sue

"We really enjoy the activities at Zvago. When we first moved here, Diane started a Tai Chi group and also taught a watercolor class. Dick started billiards and cribbage groups.  We both play guitars in a jam group. You can join an existing group or start a new one."
